15 batches of soap in the last two weekends! A display for the craft sale is also in the works. So fun learning to make new to me types of soap. I had a custom order request for an activated charcoal face bar. It has been fun taking custom orders it causes me to challenge myself and create new options to offer to my other customers too. As a result of this custom order I have created a lemon and activated charcoal face bar and "pine tar" which is a pine scented activated charcoal bar. Because the activated charcoal is so fun to work with I decided to make these swirl bars and did they come out cool! I can't wait to show them off at the sale. Since I was experimenting with swirl bars and it is the Christmas season where greens and reds are the norm, I have created a green and red swirl soap that will be offered in bars and wreath shape too. I can't wait to see what they look like when they are out of the molds. They include a festive pine scent for this season. Also, some peppermint candy canes and hearts will be available in addition to some natural bars with added glitter in the shape of snowman heads!
I'd love to hear from you about any soap you might be buying online to see if maybe we can meet your soap needs locally. I am open to trying lots of options and learning new techniques to meet my local customers needs for locally sourced, sustainable, goat milk soap. Stay tuned for pictures as soaps are coming out of molds and being cleaned this week as I prepare for the sale on December 14th. Here is a picture that my mother-in-law took to show me an idea for how to display the soaps she picked up yesterday on antique dishes. I think this is such a great idea! By the way happy Thanksgiving! I am thankful for God, my family, and my customers. What are you thankful for?
