There’s something unmistakable about sage — its soft, silvery-green leaves, earthy fragrance, and centuries-old place in traditional herbal preparations. Our handcrafted Sage Herbal Salve captures the natural character of this remarkable herb in a rich, nourishing blend inspired by generations of homestead skincare traditions.

Sage has long been appreciated for its aromatic qualities and naturally occurring botanical compounds, including antioxidants that have made it a valued ingredient in traditional herbal skincare. We carefully grow and harvest sage from the gardens of our Nebraska homestead, selecting its fragrant leaves and slowly steeping them in olive oil to infuse the oil with their botanical goodness. We then blend this herbal infusion with beeswax to create a rich, protective salve.

Unlike lightweight lotions or creams, our sage salve has a thicker, more substantial consistency. It goes on rich, softening and conditioning dry, rough skin while leaving behind a lasting protective barrier that helps seal in moisture. A little goes a long way, making it especially well suited for hardworking hands, dry cuticles, elbows, heels, and other areas needing extra attention.

Made with just three simple ingredients — homestead-grown sage, olive oil, and beeswax — our salve contains no added fragrances, artificial colors, or preservatives. Its subtle, earthy herbal aroma comes naturally from the sage itself.
