Our handcrafted Calendula Herbal Salve captures the goodness of these remarkable flowers in a rich, nourishing blend inspired by nature and traditional homestead skincare.

Calendula, sometimes called pot marigold, has a long history of use in botanical skin preparations and is especially appreciated for its naturally occurring plant compounds and ability to complement gentle skincare routines. We carefully grow calendula throughout the gardens and landscaped areas of our Nebraska homestead, harvesting its brilliant orange and golden blossoms when they are at their best. The flowers are slowly steeped in olive oil, allowing their botanical compounds to infuse into the oil before we blend it with beeswax to create a rich, protective salve.

Unlike lightweight lotions or creams, our calendula salve has a thicker, more substantial consistency. It melts gently against the warmth of your skin, softening and conditioning dry, rough areas while leaving behind a lasting protective barrier that helps seal in moisture. Its rich texture makes it especially well suited for hardworking hands, dry cuticles, elbows, heels, and other areas that could use a little extra attention. A little goes a long way.

Made with just three simple ingredients — homestead-grown calendula blossoms, olive oil, and beeswax — our salve contains no added fragrances, artificial colors, or preservatives. Its beautiful golden character comes naturally from the calendula-infused oil.
