There’s something special about the fresh, woodsy character of spruce trees and the timeless traditions surrounding their use in herbal skincare. Our handcrafted Spruce Herbal Salve captures a little of that woodland goodness in a rich, nourishing blend designed to care for hardworking skin.

Spruce has a long history of use in traditional herbal preparations, valued for its naturally aromatic qualities and botanical compounds. We carefully harvest spruce from trees growing on our Nebraska homestead and slowly steep it in olive oil, allowing the evergreen’s natural properties to infuse into the oil. We then blend this botanical infusion with beeswax to create a simple, protective salve inspired by generations of traditional homestead skincare.

Unlike lightweight lotions or creams, our spruce salve has a thicker, more substantial consistency. It glides onto the skin with a rich, conditioning feel, softening dry, rough areas while leaving behind a lasting protective barrier that helps seal in moisture. A little goes a long way, making it especially well suited for hardworking hands, weather-exposed skin, elbows, heels, and other areas needing extra care.

Made with just three simple ingredients — homestead-harvested spruce, olive oil, and beeswax — our salve contains no added fragrances, artificial colors, or preservatives. Any subtle evergreen aroma comes naturally from the spruce itself.
