Some of nature’s most remarkable plants grow right beneath our feet. Our handcrafted Plantain & Turmeric Herbal Salve brings together two botanicals with a long history of use in traditional skincare, creating a rich, nourishing blend for skin that needs a little extra attention.

Broadleaf plantain, often overlooked as a common backyard weed, has been treasured for generations in traditional herbal preparations for its soothing and skin-conditioning qualities. We carefully harvest plantain growing naturally on our Nebraska homestead and slowly steep it in olive oil, allowing its botanical goodness to infuse into the oil. We then combine this infusion with turmeric, a golden botanical valued for its antioxidant compounds and long history in traditional skincare.

Blended with beeswax, these ingredients create a thick, protective salve that goes on richer and heavier than an everyday lotion. It softens and conditions dry, rough skin while leaving behind a lasting moisture-sealing barrier. Especially suited for hardworking hands, elbows, heels, and other areas needing extra care, a little goes a long way.

Made with homestead-harvested plantain, turmeric, olive oil, and beeswax, our salve contains no added fragrances, artificial colors, or preservatives.

Please note: Turmeric’s naturally vibrant golden color may temporarily tint skin or stain clothing, towels, and other fabrics. Apply sparingly, allow the salve time to absorb, and avoid contact with delicate fabrics immediately after application.
